I am passionate about creating websites and using new technology to improve the way we communicate. I can proudly report that I love what I do, and it shows in the quality of my work.
I was born in Los Angeles and currently reside in Portland. My interest in the web began as a hobby in high school. The first web site I built was “SoCalStreetBall” I would chronicle all of the basketball ball courts in Southern California that kept lights on past 9pm. I showed maps, parking information and would describe who the best players were and what their styles were like.
I went on to enroll in college at UC San Diego, where I majored in computer science. My classes focused more on math and computer theory rather than practical web design and development so I took it upon myself to study these things on my own.
Thanks to all of my hard work, I was able to land a job doing web design straight out of college in 2004, and I have been working in the industry ever since.
My first two years were spent working for companies that specialize in creating accessible, search-engine-optimized websites for attorneys and medical professionals.
I now spend my days working directly with clients to create accessible, web-standards-compliant, search-engine-optimized, and generally awesome websites. I also take the time to talk with my clients, to learn and understand their goals, and to use my experience to help turn those goals into reality.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my website! If there’s something else you’re dying to know about me, just ask.
